1Log in to Manus

  • ✓Sign in at manus.im/app with the account that should own the integration.
  • ✓Make sure you also have an active SOMIN workspace on the account Manus should see.

2Connect the SOMIN MCP

  • ✓Open Manus Connectors ↗ → Create (top-right) → Custom MCP.
  • ✓Fill the dialog with the fields below (Transport stays HTTP) — Server name and Server URL are the only required values. Click Save.

This is the MCP connector to the SOMIN platform.
  • ✓In a new task, click the connector icon in the composer and toggle SOMIN on (teal = active).
  • ✓Run the workspace check ↗ — a workspace list within ~4 s means you're connected.

3Allow downloads — My Browser connector

The skills package lives on share.somin.ai; Manus needs browser access to fetch it.

  • ✓Open Manus Plugins ↗ → Connectors section → My Browser.
  • ✓Click Connect and install the Chrome extension if prompted. The button changes once active.
Skipping this makes the skills download in step 4 fail.

4Run skill setup & save the skills

  • ✓Open Manus with the skills install prompt ↗ and press Enter.
  • ✓Click Add to my skills on skill-library-sync first.
  • ✓Save every remaining skill Manus presents (click Replace if prompted).
  • ✓Verify all SOMIN skills are listed and toggled On under Settings → Skills.

5Run the brand-deck skill

  • ✓With SOMIN toggled on in the composer, open Manus with the deck prompt pre-filled ↗ and press Enter.
  • ✓Pick a workspace, then a brand, when Manus asks.
  • ✓Success = Manus starts with /scope-elicitation, runs /somin-brand-deck, styles with /somin-brand-guideline.
I have SOMIN MCP connected. Give me a list of workspaces that I can work with, once I choose, give me a list of brands available in my workspace, once I choose the brand, then build a 12-month strategy deck for the one I pick. Use /somin-brand-deck for the full analysis and /somin-brand-guideline for SOMIN styling. Start with /scope-elicitation.

Deeplink doesn't open Connectors? Sidebar path: Plugins → Connectors → View all → Create. Manual Phase 1A.
No “Create” button? Org-managed account — admin must add the connector. Manual Phase 2.
Auth error on smoke test? Re-check the Server URL (/_mcp, leading underscore) and that SOMIN is toggled on in the composer. Manual Phases 1/3.
Skills download fails? Confirm My Browser is connected. Manual Phase 5.
Skills not used in step 5? Re-check they're saved and toggled On. Manual Phases 6–7.
